Surely not the same John Mann who, according to http://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/john_mann/bassetlaw#expenses, was: (1) joint 2nd (out of 657 MPs) in 2001/2 for claiming expenses for staying away from home (2) 19th (out of 657) for overall expenses in 2001/2 (3) joint 1st (out of 657) for claiming expenses for both staying away from home and office running costs in 2002/3(4) 48th (out of 659) for claiming overall expenses in 2004/5 and (5) always in top 55 MPs for claiming expenses for stationary and postage between 2001 and 2009 ???
If so, his conversion in more recent times to self-righteousness in relation to MPs Expenses claims appears to be borne out of earlier first-hand experience of how the system works.
