SEP Chairman Wang Yundan Attended the Second Sino-Tanzania Investment Forum

    From June 23 to 25, SEP Chairman Wang Yundan and Vice President GuoBaohong attended the Second Sino-Tanzania Investment Forum and participated the Chinese Tanzania attended the second Investment Forum and participated Chinese enterprises forum held during the visit of China’s Vice Preside Li Yuanchao.

    On June 23, Vice President Li Yuanchao attended the Sino-Tanzania Investment Forum opening ceremony and delivered a speech. As deputy head of the Sino-Tanzania Investment Forum, SEP Chairman Wang Yundan made a speech with the topic of "Promoting Chinese Enterprises and Invest Green Energy in Tanzania for the General Public" in the meeting of "Strengthen Trade and Financial Relations between China and Tanzania,".

    On June 24, Wang Yundan was invited to participate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between China and Tanzania. The Vice President of Tanzania, Mr. Bilal and China’s Vice Preside Li Yuanchao made attended and made speeches, during which Mr Li and Wang Yundan had a cordial conversation.

    On June 25, Li Yuanchao attended the conversazione with other Chinese enterprise representatives. Wang Yundan made a speech with the topic of ‘Make CPI KIII Power Plant as a Model Project of Sino-Tanzania Energy Cooperation ’. Mr. Li highly appraised SEP’s previous work and said that the investment first solve local problems and also solve of ours. This kind of investment can be used in the high-return industry and other mature industry like the electric power industry. Our power systems are far more stable and reliable than Western’s. Therefore, investment is far more effective than aid and build pattern.

    During this forum, Wang Yundan and Mr. Mramba, the president of Tanzania National Electric Power Company signed the shareholder agreement on" Development, Financing, Construction, Ownership and Operation of Kinyerezi600MW Gas Turbine Power Plant in Dar es Salaam”. This marks that the SEP-Tanzania Power Plant begins put into normal operation.

    Related officers from SEP International Department and SEP- Tanzania Power Company also attended these events.
